Sylvia's Baskets

Honoring Lion Syvia Potts, members provide baskets to nursing home residents

Book Collection

Supporting literacy at the local jail, where collected books are donated

Elderly Support

Friendship, counseling, driving and other support for elderly in the community

Flag Display

Club members put up and take down flags at local businesses on national holidays

Blood Bank

Members support local Red Cross Blood Bank drives by staffing check-ins

Children's Softball

Softball league for 440+ children ages 3-18, each season since 1970.

Quilts for Patients

Several club members make quilts and neck scarfs for nursing home patients

Knit Caps for Kids

Lions members knitted caps for children undergoing cancer treatment

Facts

Approximately 300,000 children aged 0-19 are diagnosed with cancer each year.
